Our Benefit

Autism Assistance Dogs are trained to provide a calming, grounding presence for individuals on the autism spectrum. These dogs help reduce anxiety, prevent wandering, and serve as a social bridge — making it easier for their handlers to engage with the world around them.

For children and adults with autism, the bond with a trained assistance dog can be transformative. The dog provides consistent, non-judgmental companionship that helps regulate emotions and build confidence in social situations.

Key Features:

  • Interrupts repetitive or self-harming behaviors
  • Provides deep pressure therapy during meltdowns
  • Tethering to prevent wandering in children
  • Serves as a social bridge in public settings
  • Helps establish daily routines and structure
